September in WCC
It's been a busy September and the Club's activities have started again in earnest. The EGM took place on the 7th September both via Zoom and to a live socially distanced audience; however, as you all know, we have reverted back to Zoom only due to the return of tighter restrictions.
"What we Shot in Lockdown 5" followed; as ever this evening was a great success with our members showing a fantastic range of photos the captured over the summer. A recording of the slideshow is available below to watch again at your leisure.
Most recently was our first competition of the year, PDI 1. Sue Dunham stood in at short notice to do a brilliant job of judging the evening. Congratulations to Linda for coming in first place with her image "A Jar of Sunshine" all the images scoring 10 or above can be viewed in the gallery below.
Coming up this week we have Andrew Mills giving us a talk on "Composition". Andrew is a regular presenter and judge at Wimborne Camera Club and so this is sure to be a great evening.
Although we are currently Zoom only, we still have a very active programme ahead. If you want to see what's coming up, you can look at in the regularly updated digital programme on the website or via google calendars.
We would be pleased to welcome new members, so if you or a friend would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to Contact Us!
